Antisana  is infact one of the largest stratovolcano of the northern Andes in Ecuador. It is the Fourth highest volcano in Ecuador, at 5,704 metres (18,714 ft), and is located 50 km SouthEast of the capital city in the Antisana Ecological Reserve.

Antisana presents one of the most challenging technical climbs in the Ecuadorian Andes. Antisana is completely covered with snow and glaciers which makes it one of the most daring climbing expeditions in the world. This is the primary reason why Antisana remains a pretty rarely explored and climbed peak and not many climbers have climbed it yet. However, its has splendid views of Sincholagua and maginificent beauty of Cayambe and Cotopaxi.These are some features that have always attracted people to this mountain peak. 

Its a technical  climb which requires to be physically fit since it takes a lot of effort (8 Hours) to summit it. It is recommend to book ahead since many permits are required before the ascent.It is recommended to be acclimatized

Day 1: Leave Quito and we are going to head East , we will be able to stop ,and take pictures along the way since it’s an amazing landscape. It will take as around 2 hours to get to the base camp. Eat Dinner andSleep early since we start climbing around 11pm

Day2: We will summit the mountain in around 8 hours , depending on the weather conditions. After summiting it we will head down for lunch and back to Quito
